Former Texas State GOP Committeeman John Gordon Endorses David Dewhurst for U.S. Senate

The Dewhurst for Texas campaign today announced the endorsement of John Gordon of Round Rock, former Texas State GOP Committeeman.

The following statement may be attributed to Mr. Gordon:

Just this weekend, U.S. Senate Candidate Ted Cruz said that "the best thing to happen to the Republican Party was to get its teeth kicked in in 2008."  We win by losing? That's nonsense, Ted. I don't think that President Obama's six-trillion dollar spending spree, Obamacare, nomination of liberal Supreme Court Justices, assault on religious freedoms and traditional family values, or his war on Texas jobs are the best things for anybody except Barack Obama.

That’s why I am supporting David Dewhurst for U.S. Senate, a lifelong businessman with a proven record of reducing spending, cutting taxes, and supporting good-old fashioned Texas values.  He will fight in the US Senate to win for us, for our values.

RNC Texas National Committeeman Bill Crocker Endorses David Dewhurst for U.S. Senate

The Dewhurst for Texas campaign today announced the endorsement of Bill Crocker, Texas National Committeeman for the Republican National Committee.

“All my life I have supported Republicans who were leaders and who were capable of effectively applying our conservative principles – from Precinct Chair to President,” said Bill Crocker. “I know an effective Republican leader when I see one, and David Dewhurst is exactly the kind of person we need in the US Senate, representing and defending traditional Texas values, restoring faith in the Constitution and free markets, and fighting against Obama’s big government agenda.  He delivers results, not empty rhetoric.  I hope you will join me in electing a man who is a veteran, a successful businessman and an effective Republican leader, David Dewhurst.”

Crocker joins Governor Rick Perry, Governor Mike Huckabee, leading conservative Michael Reagan, Texas Alliance for Life, Texas Right to Life PAC and pro-life champions Kyleen Wright and Carol Everett in supporting David Dewhurst for U.S. Senate.

Dewhurst For Texas Unveils Texas Law Enforcement Coalition

The Dewhurst for Texas campaign unveiled its Texas Law Enforcement Coalition, highlighting the endorsements of the most influential law enforcement associations in Texas, including the Texas chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT), and the Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA).

Dewhurst has made it his commitment to ensure the security and safety of all Texans, and has worked closely with the law enforcement community to strengthen criminal penalties for sexual predators of children, honor the fallen men and women of law enforcement, and develop legislation that allows law enforcement to do their jobs as effectively as possible.

“Dewhurst promised the law enforcement community that Texas would strengthen the law regarding the rape, abduction of children and he kept his word with the passage of ‘Jessica’s Law.' When the apologists for criminals tried to kill the bill, Dewhurst took the criticism, stood strong and made it happen. We’ve been able to count on him to keep his word no matter how difficult the political circumstances,” CLEAT Director of Public Affairs Charlie Wilkison stated.
