This year, Americans are unfortunate enough to learn that President Obama has gravely miscalculated the severity of his destructive spending spree. The Weekly Standard notes that the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office discovered that Obama may have underestimated his yearly deficit by close to half a trillion dollars.
Obama’s newly estimated deficit isn’t a product of bad math. It’s further confirmation that President Obama would continue to ignore our national debt and his obscene deficit spending—the most dangerous threats to American prosperity.
We need David Dewhurst in the Senate to combat and defeat Washington liberals’ irresponsible spending. He’s consistently kept fiscal sanity in Texas, and he will do it as our next U.S. Senator.
