Enough is Enough
Last week, the United States Justice Department rejected South Carolina’s Voter ID law based on the Justice Department’s partisan claim that protecting ballot integrity is discriminatory.
Now it seems Attorney General Eric Holder has set his sights on Texas’ recently passed Voter ID law.
Sign our petition today. Send a clear message to President Obama and Attorney General Holder that you do not want your Federal Government to touch the Texas' Voter ID Law.
Having lost the battle in legislatures across America, Democrats are turning the Justice Department into a branch of the Democratic National Committee, using it as a political arm to knock down ballot integrity laws across the country.
Eric Holder is acting more like Tammany Hall’s Boss Tweed than an impartial guardian of the law. Hasn’t Attorney General Holder done enough damage already?
This is the first time in nearly two decades that a state’s voter identification law has been challenged and blocked, violating our Founders’ intent to respect the will of the people through state legislatures. The Obama Administration’s blatant abuse of power usurps rights explicitly reserved by the States in the 10th Amendment.
The Justice Department has made clear that it has no problem eroding ballot integrity in South Carolina. Is there any chance they won’t try to kill our Texas Voter ID law? Of course not!
This overreach of power by the Federal Government defies the Constitution and threatens the sacred principle of one U.S. citizen, one vote. Under the guise of “protecting rights,” Holder is pushing the federal government further into Americans’ lives.
Enough is enough.
It is time to tell the Federal Government we will not take it anymore.
Sign our petition today and send a clear message to President Obama and Attorney General Holder that our constitutional rights are important to all. We will not allow them to tread on them anymore!
