CLEAT Endorses David’s Re-election Campaign

CLEAT, the state's largest law enforcement organization endorsed David for re-election today.

"David Dewhurst has been the leader that Texas has needed," said Charley Wilkison, Director of CLEAT Public Affairs.

"Whether is has been his efforts to strengthen the law punishing child rapists or working to give line officers the tools they need to protect our communities - David Dewhurst has been our kind of leader," said Wilkison.

Texans Submit Friend of the Court Brief in 2nd Amendment Case

"Governor Rick Perry and Texas Lt. Governor David Dewhurst head a list of nearly 900 State Legislators initiating a brief to the U.S. Supreme Court again seeking to secure Constitutional rights for all citizens, the right to keep and bear arms."
