Longhorns to Compete in BCS Championship Game

The new BCS rankings were just released and Texas is on its way to Pasadena to compete against the Alabama Crimson Tide for the BCS National Championship Title on January 7th.

Fun fact about the Longhorns history against the Tide: "The Longhorns have a 7-0-1 record against the Tide, though many of those came when it was Bear Bryant vs. Darrell Royal on the sidelines. They haven't met since the 1982 Cotton Bowl, when Texas won 14-12."

Also congratulations to the TCU Horned Frogs on their perfect season. Best of luck against Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl. We'll all be rooting for UT and TCU this bowl season!

Congratulations to Colt McCoy and all the Longhorn seniors for a great win against Kansas on senior night. This is the winningest senior class in school history. You have represented your school and your state well, and we are proud of you.
