Supporting Props 2, 3, 4, 5 and 11

Tomorrow is Election Day and several of you will be casting your vote on the eleven proposed constitutional amendments. David is strongly backing propositions 2, 3, 4, 5, and 11.

Propositions 2,3, and 5 would reform our property tax system by creating more fairness for the taxpayers and transparency in the state government.

Proposition 4 would create a national research university fund to help Texas’ emerging research universities raise the funds to become Tier One or “flagship” universities. The proposition would not only increase the prestige of many of our top public universities, but would promote economic growth.

Proposition 11 would protect property owners by restricting the use of eminent domain to acquire privately owned land.
