Please join with David in urging our representatives in Washington to stand up for Texas taxpayers by voting against the government takeover of health care. You can take action by joining the health care coalition below. Together, we can help turn the tide in favor of quality, affordable health care for more Americans, without growing government or plunging our nation deeper into debt.

All members of congress and the President take a sworn oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. The Slaughter amendment is unconstitutional. Those who vote for it should be brought up on charges. If it passes and the President signs it he too should be brought up on charges.
Sucede if they continue.
I think that we need to get back to the Constitution that our Fore Fathers Laid Out so we would not have a BIG Government and Government run Healthcare.
As a proud native Texan, I am absolutely opposed to any Federal Government intervention and/or takeover of the healthcare system. I am aware that our healthcare system has some problems, but as a firm believer in the free market system, we can fix it without the overhaul that is currently being debated and considered by the Democrats in Congress. I urge our congressmen and senators to defeat any form of this healthcare plan and start over with a clean slate.
Should Congress shove healthcare down our throats, I will support any measure that the fine gentlemen in the legislature of Texas draft that would make it illegal for Texas to have a socialized healthcare system in this Great State.
The people of Texas are proud and strong, and I don’t believe they will stand for the U.S. Congress or the President dictating our medical needs.
I hope the folks that voted for this current administration and their social loving ways are enjoying their “Hope and Change”. I damn sure miss George W. Bush!
May God Bless Texas. Now, let’s do the right thing.
Sincerely,
Robert B. Christmas
I wholeheartedly AGREE with the good gentleman Robert Christmas. Let’s remember to think conservatively; work for conservative change when there needs to be change; uphold good conservative values of home, family and state; maintain and encourage our children and fellow Texans and Americans to live moral lives privately and publicly and practice ethical living at every level. Let’s stay true to our Constitution, our country and our God.
Most of us didn’t want it, but we got health care shoved down our throats by the federal government. The federal behemoth needs to be controlled. This native Texan says that all 50 states need to take back their STATE RIGHTS NOW!
